Introduction
Baugil Course 16 is known as the Hagisiseupji Trail. The name “Hagisiseupji” is derived from the opening phrase of Confucius’ Analects: “Is it not a pleasure to learn and to practice constantly?” This trail, explored through a collaboration between a university and a local trail organization for the first time in Korea, begins at Gangneung-Wonju National University and passes through Ojukheon House, Seongyojang House, the Memorial Hall of Kim Si-seup (Maewoldang), and the birthplace village of Heo Nanseolheon.
